Small Truck Wash

This small Brisbane based trucking company needed a wash down facility for their low loaders . The trailers carry a variety of mechanical equipment which is often clad with dirts and clay.

Design of the wash down pad and solids capture pit was extremely important in maintaining the reliability of the recycling system.

How it works:

1. A 3000psi pressure washer draws from the main above ground recycled water tank .
2. Wash water and solids enter the capture pit where heavy solids and silt are trapped.
3. Wash water then enters a 450L underground sedimentation pit where water is drawn by two pieces of equipment;
   1. VGS: The Vertical gravity separator effectively removes floating oils and some coarser suspended solids.
   2. Induced Syclonic Seperator (ICSEP): The Domino ICSEP uses a combination diffused air flotation and chemical dosing to remove suspended dirts, oils and kill any bacteria and viruses present in the tank.
4. At scheduled intervals water is transferred to another sedimentation tank before being pumped back to the main recycled water tank.

Everything Water recently completed a turnkey 3 bay Truck wash project for a refridgerated transport company. The project included all aspects of design, council liaison, construction and commissioning.

Using a combination of rain water harvesting and a Domino WWR-Micro this company is well prepared for looming level 6 water restrictions.

How it works:

1. The pressure washers draw from the main above ground recycled water tank .
2. Wash water is collected into a pit from a central spoon drain.
3. The wash water then enters a underground sedimentation pit where water is drawn by two pieces of equipment;
   1. Domino VGS-M : The Mycelx Filtration Separator effectively removes floating oils and heavy silts.
   2. Domino WWR- Micro : The Domino Micro comprises a Domino Induced Syclonic Seperator (ICSEP) along with a custom designed Mutlimedia filter. The resulting recycled water has good colour and low odour suitable for all but the final rinse..
4. The recycled water is then returned to the harvested rainwater tank for re-use.
